Life was sweet back in North Texas. The Mid Cities area snug up against Fort Worth, cowboy central. This is where the roots of Round Hill Jewelers began in the 1980’s disco era. There is where I learned the in’s and out’s of jewelry basics in a spare bedroom, casting and creating the very popular heavy gold nugget jewelry in all its various forms for all my friends and family. They don’t make them like that any longer. I apprenticed with a handful of jewelers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and took a leap of faith, packed everything up, and went out West. My first location was in Carson City. I’ve had three different locations over several years, all of them unique and mostly in historic buildings.
